School of Rocks: Sports Medicine and Nutrition with Dr Kate Edwards

The Shool of Rocks Cardiff aka Ysgol Greigiau Caerdydd are hosting another event that we think you’ll love especially if you are looking to improve your fuelling while on and off the bike.

Check out what the girls have to say:

“Having served as a pitch-side medic for the Scarlets rugby team, a team doctor for the Red Devils ice hockey and the Welsh women’s international football teams, Dr Kate Edwards professional expertise in the world of sports is invaluable.

In addition to her already impressive achievements, she holds a master's degree in sports medicine and nutrition and has agreed to share her insights on some of the key aspects of these fields and their significance in cycling.

Whether you want to learn more about proper fuelling on the bike or are preparing for an ultra-endurance event, we hope this talk will shed light on some do’s and don'ts to help you become better (fuelled) cyclists.

The event will start at 6.30pm on 19 January 2023 (doors open at 6pm) at @thebikelockcafe

Due to the costs of the venue/event, we do need to charge a small fee. This is purely to cover the organisational costs; SOR will not be benefiting from this in any way.”
